Please read as this explains the dual purpose of our organization...
We have also included our mission statement below.

Organization Purpose

Our purpose plays a dual role both as a support group and a campaign for a fairer family court system.
Our primary aim however is to offer support and help wherever possible to all those people going through the initial stages of separation, irrespective of their gender or relationship status and then continue to offer the support until they feel they no longer need us.
The frustrations that exists within the family court system will leave most partners in total desperation and probable financial difficulties, this usually leads to further problems post resolution.
Our aim is to offer support with near instant interaction, we have a wealth of knowledge from personal experience and access to some of the best organisations in the UK to deal with specific issues.
cgfap is not only about separation, it also offers support to families who have problems concerning obstructive ex partners and continues to update to enhance our support to more diverse issues including Social Services
It is our clear intention to bring everybody that is suffering together.
The community forum continues to grow and more input means more information, we have now extended it to offer a greater support to people having issues with Social Services.
With regards to the campaign we will continue to fight for a 21st Century legal system, where the interest of the child is definitely paramount.
It is also our intention to reach out to all those that do not have use of the Internet by using area representatives this will lead to a network of support to cover the UK.

Our Mission

Our mission is to further promote the aims of our organisation and to expand our knowledge enabling us to continue introducing new services to meet the demands of the grieving partner.
We strive to make members of the public aware of our continuing campaign against the injustice that exists within the family court system.

Although we all believe that the problem is ours alone, we do not realise that it affects the whole family around us, Parents, Grandparents, Brothers, Sisters, Aunts and Uncles, consequently all of these are eligible to become a supporter of the group,

At cgfap we support each other. As a member of the community forum it will enable you to have your say and be heard, it is free and simple to join. Becoming a supporter and adding your name to the guest book will help us to be heard, the voice of a million people will carry more than the voice of a single person, Men, Women, Children, even Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. A broken relationship is not just about 2 people, the vindictive partners actions can cause an effect both physically and emotionally on everybody involved including family and friends. "You are only alone - If you want to be" Together as cgfap we can make a difference. our aim is to make the changes at the foundations which in turn will enable us to build a post relationship with our ex partners better and stronger, with neither side holding the upper hand. It is our intention to build a network of support across the UK to reach out to all those without the benefit of the Internet and all the information available online, then we can bring about change to the injustice system, you too can help by becoming a county, area or district representative. It is a voluntary position, it involves very little work on your part but more importantly it will be rewarding, if this is not for you just become a supporter of cgfap and support the way forward. You do not need to become a supporter of cgfap to receive help from the community forum... however you do need to register for the forum... once there, you will be free to ask as many questions as you like on whatever subjects. Also this site has many links to various organisations each offering their own support groups which should help you to deal with your specific problems. please note :- other groups may charge a fee for their own individual services, this is beyond the control of cgfap and therefor we accept no responsibility for costs involved.

if you are unsure as to whether we can help you please phone John on 01329 319084 between 5.30 and 9.30 in the evening any day of the week and I will be glad to assist you.

if you consider your situation is urgent you may call me any time during the day on 07800 577823

Name Change.... When we started the group it was out of frustration caused by an unjust system. However, as we have progressed, we have come to realise that there is more urgent need for support to all those already affected by the family courts system, than a campaign for change. the word "campaign" suggests that we only have one aim, so with immediate effect we have changed the name to "care". it does not deter us from our original intentions, merely putting it into perspective regarding our priorities. There is a need for a change across the entire system...
